5. Thermal Sealing: For fine, blonde, dyed or dry hair: flat iron at 180°C (356°F), 10-12 passes per section. For resistant, thick or afro hair: 220°C (428°F), 12-15 passes per section.
6. Finishing: Rinse thoroughly and finish as desired.

Alternative 48-Hour Technique: Some professionals skip the final rinse and allow the keratin to remain in the hair for 48 hours. Client washes at home after 48 hours using sulfate-free shampoo.
