What makes Brazil Protein smoothing different?

The difference is in the mechanism. Instead of glyoxylic acid or formaldehyde, the straightening creams use a cysteamine and cysteine reducer, activated by fruit acids. That chemistry is the same across Bio Lamination, Nano Gel, Bioplastia Vegan and BTOX, so you work with a mechanism you can explain consistently to every client.

Which line straightens and which just reduces volume?

Bio Lamination, Nano Gel and Bioplastia Vegan are smoothing and straightening systems, chosen by texture and hair colour. BTOX is a cysteamine cream aimed at volume reduction and frizz control rather than full straightening, so it suits clients who want to keep movement.

Can Brazil Protein be used on blonde, bleached or coloured hair?

Smoothing can be used on coloured and blonde hair, but always assess the condition of the hair first and take a strand test. Bioplastia Vegan is the gentler, toning-friendly choice for these clients. Work from your professional judgement on each head, as always.

When do I reach for SOS Protein or Mix Brazilian Oil?
