The Wahl Vanquish Compact is a compact T-shape hair dryer with a digital motor: WAHL gives it a weight of 290 g and a motor speed of 101,000 RPM. Two magnetic attachments come with it.

In the box

• The hair dryer
• 2 magnetic attachments
• Contents may vary

Why the Vanquish Compact

A stylist who blow-dries all day holds the dryer for most of it, so its weight is the first figure to look at. The settings are the other daily detail: three heat and three speed, which WAHL gives a memory function.

Who it is not for

• 100-120 V mains - it is rated 220-240 V only
• Diffused drying of curls - no diffuser is included; WAHL sells a separate one whose carton names the VANQUISH® Compact
• A dryer with an AC motor - the Wahl Turbo Booster has an AC-collector motor

Professional tip

Finish each section with a burst of the cool shot. It sets the shape you have just dried in, before you move on to the next one.

How to use

1. Towel-dry the hair first.
2. Fit one of the magnetic attachments.
3. Choose the heat and the speed.
4. Dry section by section.
5. Set each section with the cool shot.
6. Switch the dryer off.

Care and maintenance

Use the dryer's auto-clean function regularly. With the dryer unplugged, brush the lint off the air inlet as well.
