Professional tip

Fuse the fade with short overlapping passes -- once the clipper work is done, run the shaver back and forth in small, overlapping strokes over the lightest part of the fade so the foil melts the line between skin and stubble instead of cutting a hard edge. Let the foil skim the skin without pressing, and go with the grain first, then across it for a closer finish.

How to use

1. Charge the battery, or plug in the 3 m cord for corded use.
2. Cut and line first with the FreshFX clipper and trimmer.
3. Shave the hairline, neck and cheeks, letting the foil skim the skin.
4. Fuse the base of the fade with short, overlapping passes.
5. Go with the grain first, then across it for a closer finish.
6. Oil the cutters after each use, brush the foils clean and store the shaver dry.

Care and maintenance

Brush the foils clean after every client and put a drop of oil on the cutters so they keep gliding; do not press on the foils, as pressure wears them and pulls the shave. Keep the shaver dry and store it in its pouch.
