About Piur London
Piur London, also styled Piur Professional, builds its hair care as protocols: a fixed order of steps for one hair concern, done in the salon, followed by a home routine that keeps the result going. There are two lines. Piur London Professional holds the four salon protocols: Rebonding, Reactive Pro, Sensorial Repair and Hydraluxe. Piur London Home Care holds the routines your client takes home, plus Gold Ritual and two finishing products. Why Piur London
Three things, each one specific. Four products carry Piur London's formaldehyde-free seal, and they are exactly the four steps of its two smoothing services: Rebonding Shampoo, Rebonding Keraplex, Reactive Pro Shampoo and Reactive Pro Smooth Therapy. Five carry the V-Label vegan mark: those four and Mask Therapy. And every protocol names its steps and their order, so a stylist new to the brand can run a service correctly the first time.
Which Piur London treatment suits your hair
Start with the smoothing decision, because it is the one that can go wrong. Piur London makes two formaldehyde-free glyoxylic smoothing services and splits them by heat. Rebonding Keraplex is for chemically resistant hair and is ironed at 160 to 230 °C. Reactive Pro Smooth Therapy is for blonde, highlighted or sensitised hair and is ironed at 160 to 190 °C, with a violet pigment for the reflect. If the hair has been lightened, it goes to Reactive Pro. Everything else is chosen by concern:

Each protocol runs in a fixed order; the method for each product is on its own page.
- Rebonding: Rebonding Shampoo, dry completely, Keraplex, dry completely, iron.
- Reactive Pro: Reactive Pro Shampoo, dry fully, Smooth Therapy, dry, iron.
- Sensorial Repair (S.P.R.): Shampoo, Protein Infusion, Seal & Protect over it without rinsing in between, then Acidic Closure to close the service.
- Hydraluxe: Prime D-Tox, Shampoo, Moisture Infusion, each rinsed, then the Balm, which stays in.

A Piur London service is built from three parts: the salon protocol for the concern, Stabilizer where another chemical service is running (colour, lightening or straightening; it is a companion product, not a protocol step), and the home routine from the matching range so the client keeps the result between appointments.

Home care and maintenance
The Sensorial Repair, Hydraluxe and Gold Ritual home routines share one rhythm. Shampoo and conditioner at every wash. Once a week, either the mask, a ten-to-fifteen-minute treatment, or the Power Dose ampoule, a three-minute single dose for a week with no time for the mask, never both on the same wash. Piur London Home Care holds all of them.

Is Piur London formaldehyde-free?
Four Piur London products carry the formaldehyde-free seal: Rebonding Shampoo, Rebonding Keraplex, Reactive Pro Shampoo and Reactive Pro Smooth Therapy, the four steps of its two smoothing services. Piur London does not present the rest of the range with that seal.
Is Piur London vegan?
Five products carry the V-Label vegan certification: Rebonding Shampoo, Rebonding Keraplex, Reactive Pro Shampoo, Reactive Pro Smooth Therapy and Mask Therapy. The other ranges do not carry a vegan seal.
Which Piur London treatment is for blonde or highlighted hair?
For smoothing, Reactive Pro: Smooth Therapy is ironed at a lower ceiling and carries a violet pigment for the blonde reflect. For conditioning without smoothing, Piur London places the Hydraluxe and S.P.R. professional protocols under blonde and highlighted hair as well.
What is the difference between Professional and Home Care?
Professional is the salon protocol, in backbar sizes, carried out by the stylist. Home Care is the routine the client uses between appointments, built to maintain what the salon protocol did.
Can I use the home care without the salon service?
Gold Ritual, yes: it is not built around a salon service and is a nourishment routine for dull, dry hair on its own. Reactive Pro, Sensorial Repair and Hydraluxe Home Care are designed as the maintenance half of their salon protocol.
