Eco Keratin Kit 2x1L - Cadiveu Brasil Cacau is the clarify-and-smooth duo of the Eco Keratin system, built for coloured, bleached and fine hair: the Step 1 Anti-Residue Shampoo that preps the fibre, paired with the Step 2 Eco Keratin, the glyoxylic-acid smoothing that tones as it works with Acid Violet 43 against yellow. It is the two salon steps that clarify and straighten, in full-size 1L bottles, priced below the two bought separately; add the Step 3 Deep Conditioning Mask to seal and hydrate. For professional use only.

Why the Eco Keratin Duo

Coloured and lightened hair needs a smoothing that respects the tone, and a clean, prepped base to take it evenly. This duo is the working core of the Eco Keratin service: the deep-cleansing Anti-Residue Shampoo that opens the cuticle at Step 1, and the gentle glyoxylic-acid Eco Keratin that smooths with anti-yellow toning at Step 2. Bought as a pair the two steps are matched and to hand, priced below the two bottles separately, and one purchase clarifies and smooths a full head. It leaves the finishing to the Step 3 Deep Conditioning Mask, so a salon that already stocks the mask, or wants to buy it on its own cadence, takes just the two active steps. It is the choice when a natural, colour-safe finish matters more than the maximum control that thick, resistant hair needs.

Key Ingredients

The smoothing active is glyoxylic acid, the second ingredient on the Eco Keratin list, which reshapes the hair under the heat of the iron. Working with it, Acid Violet 43 is the anti-yellow toner that guards the colour, the detail that sets Eco Keratin apart from the stronger systems on blonde and lightened lengths, while cysteine, sugarcane extract and plant oils condition the fibre; sericin, a silk protein, is why the treatment is not vegan. The smoothing itself is driven by the glyoxylic acid, not by formaldehyde. The Step 1 shampoo cleans deep on an alkaline pH to lift residue and open the cuticle so the product takes evenly, carrying hydrolyzed keratin, cocoa and D-Panthenol.

What to Expect

Frizz drops, the hair falls smooth and moves naturally, and the colour reads cleaner rather than warmer because the anti-yellow toning counters the brassiness smoothing can bring out. Because the chemistry is gentle, the result is a natural straight with body rather than a poker-flat cast, and it fades softly over 3 to 6 months as it grows out. With the two steps matched, the service runs cleanly from clarifying to sealing; finishing with the Step 3 mask leaves the fibre conditioned rather than dry, and a sulfate-free routine keeps the result looking fresh for longer.

Who It Is For

  • Coloured, highlighted or bleached hair that needs frizz control without losing tone
  • Fine or blonde hair that a heavier smoothing would overwhelm
  • Salons that already stock the Step 3 mask and want just the clarify-and-smooth steps, at a saving

Who It Is Not For

  • Extremely damaged hair, which the label rules out until the fibre is back in condition
  • Very thick, coarse or resistant hair, better served by the Smoothing Protein system
  • Hair that already lies flat and straight the moment it is washed

Professional tip: start on porous, previously lightened lengths at the low end of the range and build up by the strand test; the anti-yellow toning shows best when the hair is fully dry before every pass. Working from a matched pair means you never break the service to hunt for the companion step.

How to Use

This is the full Eco Keratin service across its three steps, written out and explained. This duo holds the two salon steps that clarify and smooth; finish with the Step 3 Deep Conditioning Mask to seal and hydrate. Run a sensitivity and strand test first: the strand test sets the exact iron temperature and pass count for the hair in front of you.

  1. Clarify (Step 1). Wash the hair twice with the Anti-Residue Shampoo. The first lather lifts oils and product; on the second, leave it on for 5 minutes so it swells the fibre and lifts the cuticle, which is what lets the treatment penetrate evenly. Rinse well after each. Very oily or resistant hair can take a careful third pass.
  2. Dry fully. Blow-dry the hair to 100%. Eco Keratin is applied to dry hair: any moisture left behind dilutes the product and turns to steam under the iron, which weakens the set.
  3. Section. Split the hair into 6 clipped sections so you can coat every strand methodically, working from the more resistant zones (nape, back) toward the front.
  4. Apply (Step 2). Working in thin sub-sections, apply Eco Keratin with a brush starting half a centimetre from the root, keeping it off the scalp. Then run a fine-tooth comb through each section so the product sits evenly from the half-centimetre mark to the ends. Coat thoroughly but do not over-saturate: excess only rinses away later and can leave the result uneven.
  5. Process. Leave the treatment to act for up to 60 minutes, giving resistant areas the full time. This is the window in which the glyoxylic acid binds along the cuticle.
  6. Rinse partially. Rinse out about 30%, removing only the excess. This is not a full rinse: the active stays in the fibre so the iron can set it.
  7. Dry again, then seal with heat. Dry the hair to 100%, smoothing as you go. Flat-iron in thin, taut sections, 15 to 20 passes through the root and length and fewer at the ends, adjusting to the condition of the hair, at 180 to 230 degrees Celsius as set by your strand test (lower for fine, coloured or bleached hair; higher for coarse, resistant hair). The heat is what polymerises the treatment and locks in the smoothing.
  8. Finish (Step 3). Rinse, then work the Deep Conditioning Mask through the lengths for 5 to 10 minutes to seal the cuticle and put moisture back. Rinse, then blow-dry and finish.

For professional use only. Wear suitable gloves and work in a well-ventilated area. Always carry out a sensitivity and strand test before the service; avoid contact with eyes, skin and scalp; do not use on irritated or injured scalp, on extremely damaged hair, or on children. Pregnant or lactating clients should consult a doctor. External use only.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is in the Eco Keratin duo?

The duo holds two full-size 1L bottles: the Step 1 Anti-Residue Shampoo that clarifies and preps, and the Step 2 Eco Keratin that smooths with anti-yellow toning. It is the clarify-and-smooth core of the service; the Step 3 Deep Conditioning Mask, which seals and hydrates after the iron, is sold separately.

Do I need the Step 3 mask as well?

The duo clarifies and smooths, and the iron sets the result. The Step 3 Deep Conditioning Mask is the recommended finish: it seals the cuticle and puts moisture back after the heat, so the hair ends conditioned rather than dry. Add it if you are not already stocking it, or step up to the full three-step kit.

Is the Eco Keratin duo suitable for coloured or bleached hair?

Yes. Eco Keratin is the Brasil Cacau smoothing developed for coloured, bleached and fine hair. Its gentle glyoxylic-acid chemistry and Acid Violet 43 anti-yellow toning keep the colour true while the hair is smoothed, which is why it is chosen over the stronger systems on lightened hair.

How long does the result hold?

With the right aftercare the smooth result holds 3 to 6 months and fades softly as it grows out. Use a sulfate-free shampoo and the Anti-Frizz home line to keep it. The exact duration depends on hair type, porosity and how gently the hair is washed at home between visits.

Is the duo cheaper than buying the products separately?

Yes. The duo bundles the two active steps and is priced below the same two products bought individually, so you buy the clarify-and-smooth core of the service as a pair at a saving.
