Brazilian Thermal Reconstruction Kit 3x300ml - Cadiveu Brasil Cacau is the complete Brazilian Thermal Reconstruction system in one set: three 300ml bottles that run the reconstruction-and-smoothing service from start to finish. It works through an organic-acid system, glycolic, lactic and acetic acids that realign the fibre under the heat of the iron while hydrolyzed keratin and sericin rebuild it, so the hair is left disciplined, shiny and smoother, without glyoxylic acid or formaldehyde. The set bundles the Step 1 Anti-Residue Shampoo, the Step 2 Brazilian Thermal Reconstruction and the Step 3 Deep Conditioning Mask, priced below the three bought separately. For professional use only.

Why the Thermal Reconstruction Kit
Weakened, over-processed hair needs rebuilding as much as smoothing, and it needs the whole system to hold. The Thermal Reconstruction Kit puts the complete service in one box: the deep-cleansing Anti-Residue Shampoo that preps the fibre, the Brazilian Thermal Reconstruction treatment that reconstructs and smooths through organic acids and keratin, and the Deep Conditioning Mask that seals and rehydrates. Each step is built to work with the next, so the service runs as one system rather than three products that happen to sit together. Bought as a set, every step is matched and on hand for the full service, priced below the three bottles separately. For a salon it is also the practical way to stock the service: one purchase covers a full head from clarify to seal. It is the choice when the hair needs strengthening and discipline as well as a smoother finish, rather than the maximum control that thick, resistant hair needs.
Key Ingredients
The reconstruction is driven by an organic-acid system, glycolic, lactic and acetic acid, which reshape the hair under the heat of the iron. Rebuilding the fibre are hydrolyzed keratin and sericin, a silk protein, supported by D-Panthenol, cocoa (Theobroma Cacao) seed butter, coconut oil, shea butter and wheat germ (Triticum Vulgare) extract. The Step 1 shampoo cleans deep on an alkaline pH to lift residue and open the cuticle so the treatment takes evenly, and the Step 3 mask carries hydrolyzed keratin, cocoa butter and D-Panthenol to seal and rehydrate after the heat. There is no glyoxylic acid and no formaldehyde or releaser in the formula; the smoothing and reconstruction come from the acids and proteins working under the iron, which is why the flat-iron step is not optional but the moment the treatment sets.
What to Expect
Frizz drops, the hair feels stronger and more disciplined in the hand, and the surface takes on more shine. Because the system rebuilds as it smooths, the result reads as healthy and controlled rather than merely flattened, and it fades softly over three to six months as it grows out. With all three steps matched in the set, the service runs cleanly from clarify to seal, the fibre finishes conditioned rather than stripped thanks to the Step 3 mask, and aftercare, a sulfate-free routine in particular, decides how long it lasts. Day to day the hair dries faster and holds up better against humidity.
Who It Is For
- Weakened, over-processed or chemically-treated hair that needs reconstruction as well as smoothing
- Unruly, frizzy hair that needs discipline and strength, not just a straighter finish
- Salons that want the complete reconstruction system in one set, at a saving
Who It Is Not For
- Extremely damaged hair, which the label rules out
- Hair that holds a smooth line on its own
- Very thick, coarse or highly resistant hair, better served by the Smoothing Protein system
Professional tip: dry to 80 per cent before you apply, not bone dry; the fibre should be damp enough to take the product evenly but dry enough that the acids are not diluted, which is what gives the reconstruction its grip through the lengths. On very porous ends, ease off to fewer iron passes so you strengthen the fibre without over-working it, and working from a complete set means you never break the service to hunt for the matching step.
How to Use
This is the full Thermal Reconstruction protocol across the three steps in the box, written out and explained. Carry out a sensitivity test and a strand test first to set your iron temperature and passes.
- Clarify (Step 1). Wash the hair twice with the Anti-Residue Shampoo. The first lather lifts oils and product; on the second, leave it on for 5 minutes to swell the fibre and lift the cuticle, then rinse well.
- Dry to 80%. Blow-dry the hair to about 80%: damp but not wet. Brazilian Thermal Reconstruction is applied to towel-and-blow-dried hair, not soaking and not bone-dry, so it spreads evenly and grips the fibre.
- Section. Split the hair into 6 clipped sections and work from the more resistant zones toward the front.
- Apply (Step 2). In thin sub-sections, apply Brazilian Thermal Reconstruction with a brush starting one centimetre from the root, off the scalp, then comb through with a fine-tooth comb so every strand is evenly coated. Coat well without over-loading.
- Dry, then seal with heat straight away. There is no long processing pause: dry the hair to 100% immediately, then flat-iron in thin, taut sections, 15 to 20 passes through the root and length and fewer at the ends, adjusting to the integrity of the hair, at 180 to 230 degrees Celsius. The heat is what sets the reconstruction and the smoothing.
- Finish (Step 3). Rinse, then work the Deep Conditioning Mask through the lengths for 5 to 10 minutes, rinse, blow-dry and finish.
For professional use only. Wear suitable gloves and work in a well-ventilated area. Always carry out a sensitivity and strand test before the service. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and scalp; in case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not use on an irritated or injured scalp, on extremely damaged hair, or on children. Pregnant or lactating clients should consult a doctor. Contains fragrance allergens including Cinnamal, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene and Linalool. External use only.
Where It Fits in the Brasil Cacau Range

Frequently Asked Questions
What is in the Thermal Reconstruction kit?
The kit holds the three 300ml bottles that make up the Thermal Reconstruction service: the Step 1 Anti-Residue Shampoo that clarifies and preps, the Step 2 Brazilian Thermal Reconstruction that rebuilds and smooths through organic acids and keratin, and the Step 3 Deep Conditioning Mask that seals and rehydrates. It is the whole reconstruction system in one set.
Does the Thermal Reconstruction kit contain formaldehyde?
No. There is no formaldehyde and no releaser preservative in the formula. The reconstruction works through an organic-acid system, glycolic, lactic and acetic acid, together with hydrolyzed keratin and sericin, sealed under the heat of the flat iron rather than by any formaldehyde chemistry.
Is the kit cheaper than buying the products separately?
Yes. The kit bundles the three steps as a complete system and is priced below the same three products bought individually, so you buy the full reconstruction service in one set at a saving.
What is the difference between this and the Eco Keratin or Smoothing Protein kit?
Thermal Reconstruction rebuilds and disciplines weakened hair through organic acids and keratin. The Eco Keratin kit is the gentle glyoxylic-acid system for coloured and fine hair; the Smoothing Protein kit is the stronger glyoxylic system for thick, resistant hair. Choose Thermal Reconstruction when strengthening matters as much as smoothing.
Does it contain wheat, and is it vegan?
The formula includes wheat germ (Triticum Vulgare) extract as a conditioning agent, so it is worth noting for clients with a known wheat sensitivity. It also contains hydrolyzed keratin and sericin, a silk protein, which is why the treatment is not suitable for a vegan routine.
