What to expect in the hand

In the hand the CYBORG is a heavy 430 g of full metal, so it sits planted and drives through a full head without wander, and the recessed grip gives the thumb somewhere to settle. The lever falls under the thumb on the side you set it - stepped on the click lever, free on the floating one - so a right- or left-handed barber works to their own feel. The Faper DLC blade holds its glide as the hair gets denser, and the adjustable zero gap closes it down for a clean line. Professional tip

Set the tool to your hand before the client sits down: match the lever to the hand you cut with, fit the click lever for stepped, marked lengths or the floating lever for a free feel, and remember you run one lever at a time. Brush the blade and drop a little oil on it between clients so it stays cool and keeps its glide.

How to use

Fit the click or floating lever on the side of the hand you cut with (one at a time).
Set the length on the lever, and close the blade to zero gap with the maintenance kit for a line.
Clip a double magnetic guard from 1.5 to 19 mm, or run the blade open for the taper.
Work through the head, resetting the lever length as the cut needs.
Stand the clipper on its LED docking station to charge between days.

Safety: This is a bladed powered tool. Keep the blade and guards away from fingertips while it runs, take care when the blade is set to zero gap, keep it out of the reach of children, and switch it off before you change a lever or a guard. It is not possible to fit both levers at once. Keep it dry and charge it with the supplied dock and adapter only.

Care and maintenance

A clipper cuts clean when the blade is cared for. After each client, brush the hair from the 45 mm Faper DLC Black Diamond Carbon blade and the guards, then reach for the right Gamma+ care product. The blade is adjustable to zero gap. Use the included maintenance kit and its mini screwdriver to bring the blade to a zero-gap setting for crisp lines, and back it off a little for everyday cutting. Take care and keep a light hand when the blade is set to zero gap.
