The JRL 3000C x Diamante Barber Station Blue & Black (four machines) is the full JRL 3000C station. It puts the compact cordless clipper, the Diamante trimmer, the Onyx SF Pro SH2301 foil shaver and the Forte Pro FP2020H dryer on one chair. It is for the barber fitting that chair out in one purchase. The 3000C runs a brushless motor at 7800 RPM with a blade lever that locks at five set positions. One thing to know before you buy: the three cordless machines take 100-240V, but the dryer is 220-240V only.

Motors: brushless 7800 RPM clipper, brushless 8200 RPM trimmer, rotary 8000 RPM shaver, 90 000 RPM dryer motor

Runtime: 2 hours on the clipper, up to 2 hours on the trimmer, 3 hours on the shaver

Charging: 2 hours for the clipper, 2 hours fast charge or 3 hours on the Reset IQ cycle for the trimmer, 2 hours for the shaver

Dryer: 1900-2150W, three speeds, three heat settings, 320 g, 3,5 m cord

Why barbers buy the station complete

Fitting out a chair usually means four orders and four delivery dates. This is those four machines in one. The 3000C carries the JRL Fade blade across 0,25 to 3 mm. The Diamante carries a T-blade that closes to zero and is built for edges. The SH2301 puts an ultra-thin foil flat on the skin, and the FP2020H finishes the service with three speeds and three heat settings on a washable double filter.

Key features

  • Five-position lock lever on the clipper - the taper setting holds where you put it, so the guard height is repeatable.
  • Zero-gap capable - clipper and trimmer are designed for zero gap and ship with the tool.
  • Smart-Clip constant speed on the trimmer, JRL's patented system for holding motor speed under load.
  • Magnetic blade levitation in the shaver, JRL's named system for a quieter head.
  • Washable double filter and a self-cleaning function on the dryer, plus a cold shot and an LED indicator.
  • A 3,5 m cord on the dryer, so the chair need not sit by the socket.

What to expect on the chair

The 3000C is compact by design rather than by compromise, which helps close to the ear and around the crown. The Diamante is the finishing half of the pair, with a motor rated up to 3000 hours and built to run quietly. The SH2301 is rated for 3 hours on a 2 hour charge, and the dryer weighs 320 g.

Who it is for

  • Barbers fitting out a chair, or opening a second, in one purchase
  • Shops that want one brand and one service point
  • Barbers who cut, line up, finish bald and dry in one appointment

Who it is not for

  • Barbers removing bulk from dense hair all day - a full-size JRL clipper is the better main machine
  • Anyone who only cuts and lines up - the Duo Kit is this clipper and trimmer alone
  • Barbers working abroad or on the road - the dryer is 220-240V only, so it will not run on 110-120V mains. The Trio Kit travels; this station does not

Professional tip

Set your gaps dry, before the first client, in the same order every time: clipper, trimmer, then the shaver foil. Our rule on the clipper is to run the lever through all five lock positions with the machine on, listening for a clean note at each stop. Leave the dryer out of that routine - its filter is a weekly job, and mixing the two is how it gets forgotten.

Safety. Clipper and trimmer blades can both be set to zero gap. A blade that close sits very near the skin, so check the exposure before you take it to a client. Replace the shaver foil if it is dented or torn, because a damaged foil can scratch. The dryer runs hot and draws air - never block the intake, never use it near water, and let it cool before you store it. Keep all four away from water and heat, charge only with the adapters supplied, and keep them from children.

Care and maintenance

Brush the three cutting heads clear after every client and oil the clipper and trimmer blades at day's end. No water rating is printed for the shaver, so clean it dry with its brush rather than rinsing it. The dryer filter is washable and self-cleaning; clear it weekly, because a blocked filter is the most common reason a dryer runs hot. Blades and shaving heads are wear parts, outside warranty cover. Our Service and Repairs page sets out what the guarantee covers.

In short

  • Four machines - 7800 RPM clipper, 8200 RPM trimmer, 8000 RPM shaver, 90 000 RPM dryer motor.
  • Cut, line, finish and dry - 0,25-3 mm on the lever, 0-0,5 mm on the T-blade, foil finish, 1900-2150W dryer.
  • Eleven guards, nozzles and a diffuser, plus oil and brushes.
  • Mixed voltage - 100-240V on the three cordless machines, 220-240V only on the dryer.

Frequently asked questions

Should I choose the Fade blade or the other blade version of the 3000C?

This kit carries the Fade blade, which JRL builds for clean, even fades. The Taper blade version is the one to pick if most of your work is bulk removal and general taper cutting rather than fading. Both open from 0,25 to 3 mm on the lever, so the difference is the blade geometry and the job it is cut for, not the range.

Can I use this station abroad?

Only partly, and this is the one thing to check before you buy. The clipper, trimmer and shaver are rated 100-240V, so they work on both mains standards with nothing more than a plug adapter. The dryer is different: it is rated 220-240V only. On 110-120V mains it will not run properly, and a plug adapter does not change that, because an adapter changes the shape of the plug and not the voltage. A voltage converter is a different device. If you work in a 110-120V country, buy the Trio Kit and source a dryer locally.

What does each of the four machines do?

The clipper takes hair down with guards across a 0,25 to 3 mm range and does the fade. The trimmer runs a T-blade that closes to 0 mm and does outlines, edges and the neckline. The shaver runs a foil flat on the skin for bald finishes and the neck. The dryer finishes the service. The foil shaver is the one most often misread - it finishes an area, it does not cut a line, so it does not replace the trimmer.

Do I still need to oil the blades?

Yes, every day you use them. There is a widespread belief that modern coated blades are self-lubricating and can be left alone, and it is wrong - skipped oiling is one of the most common reasons a machine starts running hot, pulling hair or losing its edge. The clipper and the trimmer both ship with oil. The shaver foil is not oiled; it is brushed clean and replaced when it wears.

Can the blades be zero-gapped, and does that affect the guarantee?

The clipper and the trimmer are both designed to be set to zero gap and both ship with the tool for it, so adjusting them is routine maintenance rather than a modification. Worth knowing separately: cutting blades and shaving heads are wear parts and are not covered by warranty in any case, and noise after you have re-gapped or replaced a blade is treated as an adjustment matter, not a manufacturing defect.

How often should the dryer filter be cleaned?

Weekly in a working shop, and sooner if the airflow drops. The FP2020H has a washable double filter and a self-cleaning function for the deep clean. A dryer that has started running hotter or louder than usual is almost always telling you the filter is packed with hair rather than that the motor is failing.

Can I rinse the shaver head under the tap?

We would not. JRL prints no water rating on this shaver, and without a stated rating there is nothing to tell you how much water the housing is built to keep out. Clean it dry with the brush supplied, lift the head to clear the cuttings, and keep water off the body and the charging contacts.
