JRL Diamante clipper and trimmer: specifications, battery, colours and sets
The JRL Diamante is JRL Professional's clipper and trimmer line for the barbershop: the Diamante 2025C clipper and the Diamante 2025T trimmer, both with an 8,200 rpm brushless motor and the patented Smart-Clip, Cool Blade and Reset IQ technologies. Per the box, the clipper runs up to 4 hours on a charge, the trimmer up to 2 hours. Three colours, black, yellow and orange, sold singly or as a combo.
This article carries only what is printed on the packaging of the two tools: motor, blades, battery, charge times, guards and box contents. Every Diamante product is grouped on the JRL Diamante page.
What is the JRL Diamante collection?
Two cordless tools on one platform: a clipper for cutting and fading, and a trimmer for lines, edges and beards. They share the 8,200 rpm brushless motor, the Reset IQ charging dock and the faceted design with the carbon-texture grip panel and the JRL shield. You choose a colour per tool, or take the clipper and trimmer combo in one colour. For a shaver as well, there are the Diamante x Onyx Barber Pro trio kit and the master kit.
JRL Diamante 2025C clipper: what does the box say?
A brushless motor with two speeds, 6,500 and 8,200 rpm, a blade that adjusts from 0 to 3 mm and a battery the box rates at up to 4 hours. These are the specifications as JRL prints them on the 2025C packaging:
What those figures mean at the chair: two speeds give you a lower setting for detail work around the ear and the full 8,200 rpm for bulk removal. The titanium moving blade is chosen for strength and edge retention; the cool running comes from the Cool Blade construction, which the box describes as a precision blade that stays cool and sharp even after prolonged use. The lever lock holds your chosen setting through a full day of fades.
JRL Diamante 2025T trimmer: what does the box say?
The same 8,200 rpm brushless motor, an EZ-Gap blade adjustment of 0 to 0.5 mm and a battery rated up to 2 hours. The 2025T specifications as printed:
The DLC coating on the moving blade is the detail that matters for line work: diamond-like carbon lowers the friction between the blades, so the blade runs cooler on the skin during a tight line-up. The EZ-Gap is set by hand from 0 to 0.5 mm, a clean near-zero-gap without tools. Up to two hours of battery per the box; between clients the trimmer sits on its Reset IQ dock, and a fast charge takes 2 hours.

What do Smart-Clip, Cool Blade and Reset IQ mean?
Three patented technologies JRL names on both boxes. In the packaging's own words:
- Smart-Clip Constant motor speed: the technology prevents the motor from slowing or stalling.
- Cool Blade The clipper's precision blade stays ultra-cool and sharp even after prolonged use; the trimmer carries the same cool-blade icon.
- Reset IQ Charging technology that extends battery life; the matching Reset IQ charging dock is in the box of both tools.
How do you charge the JRL Diamante?
On the Reset IQ dock, with the supplied adapter (100 to 240 V). The box gives two charge times per tool: a fast charge and a longer reset charge. Clipper: 2.5 hours fast, 5 hours reset. Trimmer: 2 hours fast, 3 hours reset. The LED display at the base of the clipper shows the remaining battery time, so you see when the tool needs to go back on the dock.
What is in the box?
Care per the box: brush the hair out of the blade after every client, oil the blades regularly with the supplied oil, and never rinse the tool under the tap (the pictogram on the box rules out running water). Fit the blade guard on the trimmer before it goes in the bag.
Which colours and sets are there?
Black, yellow and orange, each as a single clipper, a single trimmer or a combo: combo black, combo yellow and combo orange. The technology is identical across the colours; only the housing differs. JRL accessories such as guards and chargers are listed separately in the shop.
