How to Use

The travel kit uses the same mixing ratios and application methods as the full-size OLAPLEX PRO Original Bond Building Kit. No.1 Bond Multiplier is mixed into formulas or diluted with water for repair, and No.2 Bond Perfector is applied after rinsing to complete bond building.

General Rules

• Add No.1 to the color or lightener mix before adding developer. Mix thoroughly, then add developer and process as usual.
• After rinsing any chemical service, apply No.2 from roots to ends for a minimum of 10 minutes. Rinse, shampoo, condition, and style.
• Dosing guide: 1/8 oz = approx 3.75 ml; 1/16 oz = approx 1.875 ml. Use the measuring lines on the bottle or a small measuring cup for precise dosing.

1) Lightener in Foils (Highlights)

Goal: Maximize lift with minimal breakage by repairing bonds during lightening.

1. Measure lightener (no developer). Add No.1 at 1/8 oz per 1-2 oz powder; for less than 1 oz use 1/16 oz. Mix well.
2. Add developer, apply in foils, and process standard timing.
3. Rinse thoroughly. Do not shampoo. Apply No.2, comb through, leave 10+ minutes. Rinse, shampoo, condition, style.

2) Balayage and Global Lightening

Goal: Controlled, even lift with fiber integrity for open-air or full-head blonding.

1. Add No.1 at 1/16 oz per 1-2 oz powder; for less than 1 oz use 1/32 oz. Mix thoroughly, then add developer.
2. Apply with your preferred technique and process normally.
3. Rinse. Apply No.2 for 10+ minutes. Rinse, shampoo, condition, style.

3) Permanent or All-Over Color

Goal: Strength support and longer-lasting color without altering tone or processing time.

1. Add No.1 at 1/16 oz per 2 oz color (about 1/2 pump per tube) before the developer. Mix thoroughly.
2. Add developer, apply, and process as usual.
3. Rinse color, do not shampoo. Apply No.2 for 10+ minutes. Rinse, shampoo, condition, style.

4) Relaxers (Creme and Normalizing Shampoo)

Goal: Preserve strength during the relaxer and neutralization phases.

1. To 5 oz relaxer creme, add No.1 = 1/16 oz. Perform service per manufacturer timing, then rinse as directed.
2. During normalization, add No.1 = 1/16 oz to 1 oz normalizing shampoo and work through hair.
3. Finish with No.2 for 10+ minutes. Rinse, shampoo if needed, condition, style.

5) Permanent Waves

Goal: Support integrity during waving and neutralizing steps.

1. To the waving lotion, add No.1 = 1/16 oz per 3 oz lotion. Process per perm system.
2. To the neutralizer, add No.1 = 1/16 oz per 3 oz neutralizer. Complete neutralization as directed.
3. Rinse thoroughly; apply No.2 for 10+ minutes, then rinse, shampoo, condition, and style.

6) Stand-Alone Repair Treatment

Goal: Focused in-salon repair to restore strength and softness between services or after corrections.

1. On dry, unwashed hair, mix 15 ml No.1 with 90 ml water in a non-spray applicator. Saturate thoroughly; process 5 minutes. Do not rinse.
2. Apply No.2 over the mixture (about 30 ml), comb through, and leave for a minimum of 10 minutes.
3. Rinse, shampoo, condition, and style.
