Nº·7 Bonding Oil™
- Dimethicone and isohexadecane: first and second on the list, a silicone and a light hydrocarbon, the base of the oil.
- Phenyl trimethicone: fifth, a silicone.
- Bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate: sixth on the list.
- Corn oil, sunflower seed oil and pomegranate seed oil: eighth, tenth and eleventh, plant oils, emollients.
- Tocopherol: fourteenth, a form of vitamin E.
Who it is not for
- Anyone sensitive to the fragrance substances the oil's list names: citral, linalool, limonene, citronellol and hexyl cinnamal.

How to use
The carton prints three numbered steps for the oil, quoted here as printed.
Method A: manufacturer method
- Step 1. Uncap and turn bottle upside down.
- Step 2. Gently tap your index finger on the bottom of the bottle to dispense a metered drop.
- Step 3. Apply 2-3 drops to damp or dry hair and style as desired. Use for touch ups and flyaways on dry hair.

How does the carton say to dispense the oil, and how many drops?
Uncap and turn the bottle upside down, then tap the bottom with your index finger to dispense a metered drop. The printed dose is 2-3 drops.
Damp or dry hair – what do the directions say, and what about touch-ups?
Step 3 says to apply to damp or dry hair and style as desired, and to use the oil for touch ups and flyaways on dry hair.
What is on the Nº·7 list?
One complete list covers the three bottles. It opens with dimethicone and isohexadecane, then C13-14 isoalkane, coco-caprylate and phenyl trimethicone. Bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate is sixth, followed by propanediol and three plant oils.
Does the list print fragrance allergens?
Yes. After the fragrance entry the list names citral, linalool, limonene, citronellol and hexyl cinnamal.
Does the carton state a formaldehyde-related claim?
No. The carton prints no formaldehyde-related statement in any of its languages.
