This product is formulated for professional salon use only. To ensure safety, consistency, and optimal performance, follow all manufacturer and professional care guidelines.

• Professional application only: Use exclusively in professional environments or by trained stylists familiar with keratin and tannin treatments.
• Avoid scalp contact: Always apply 0.5 cm from the roots to prevent irritation or unnecessary exposure.
• Protective equipment: Gloves are recommended during application. Use ventilation if treating multiple clients simultaneously.
• Temperature control: Use a professional flat iron with adjustable heat and titanium or ceramic plates. Do not exceed 200 °C on blonde, bleached, or highly sensitized hair.
• Flat iron condition: Always use a well-maintained, professional-grade flat iron with accurate temperature control. Worn or damaged straighteners can cause uneven heat distribution, reducing treatment effectiveness and overall smoothness.
• Do not rinse prematurely: Ensure full processing time (minimum 30 minutes) for proper penetration before rinsing or drying.
• Test before full application: Perform a strand test when working to evaluate hair tolerance.
• Do not apply to a compromised scalp: Avoid use on irritated or broken skin, and always perform a patch test prior to treatment.
• Post-service care: Recommend gentle, sulfate-free home maintenance products. Exposure to hard or chlorine-rich water may shorten the longevity and shine of the treatment.
• Storage: Keep tightly sealed at room temperature (15–25 °C). Do not freeze or expose to direct sunlight.

How to Use

This treatment supports two verified Salvatore rinse protocols. “No-rinse/no-wash” methods are not verified for TANINOPLASTIA® and are not recommended.

A. Use as a Standalone Product

1) Manufacturer Method — Complete Rinse (Standard)

1. Pre-cleanse: Shampoo 2–3× with a clarifying cleanser; on the final wash leave ~5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Recommended: Step A — Cuticle Prepper Clarifying Shampoo.
2. Moisture removal: Towel-dry, then remove ~50% humidity with dryer (hair damp, not wet).
3. Apply: Work in fine sections; apply from 0.5 cm off scalp through ends. Comb for even saturation.
4. Process: Minimum 30 minutes. Fine/porous: 30 min; normal: 30–35 min; thick/resistant: up to 40 min. Monitor blond/sensitized hair.
5. Rinse: Rinse completely with lukewarm–cool water until clear; no shampoo.
6. Dry: Blow-dry 100% smooth with tension; no residual moisture.
7. Heat seal: Flat-iron in very thin sections, 7–20 passes as needed:
   • 180–200 °C — fine/bleached/sensitized 
   • 210–220 °C — color-treated/chemically treated
   • 220–230 °C — thick/virgin/resistant
8. Optional finish: Hydrate/seal with Step D — Water Replenishment Mask. Rinse and style.

2) Expert salon standard Method — 50% Rinse:

1. Repeat steps 1–3 as above.
2. Process: Let the product process for longer time up to 60 minutes for thick and resistant hair.
3. Rinse: Rinse ~50% of product with water only (no shampoo); leave ~50% for enhanced smoothing.
4. Dry: Blow-dry 100% smooth with tension.
5. Heat seal: Follow the same temperature/passes guide (respect max 200 °C on blond/sensitized hair).
6. Optional finish: Quick post-rinse if desired and apply a hydrating mask for comfort; style.

Stylist Tip: Ensure the hair is completely dry before you begin straightening. Work in very fine sections to achieve even thermal activation, and always keep your flat iron plates clean to prevent product buildup. For optimal root alignment, perform up to five controlled press passes focused on the root area of each section before gliding through the lengths.
