Brazil Protein Salon Treatments
This is the professional side of Brazil Protein: the creams used behind the chair, and the products that sit around a service. Below is what each one is, taken from its own pack, then every product with its sizes.
What is in the salon range
The straightening creams are Bio Lamination, Nano Gel, Bioplastia Vegan and BTOX Extreme Shine. Bio Lamination 1 L, Bioplastia Vegan 1 L, BTOX Extreme Shine and Nano Gel 1 L name cysteamine and cysteine on their printed ingredient lists. Alongside them sit BTOX Mass Replenisher, the S.O.S Protein mask and fluid, and the Mix Brazilian Oil. The shampoos, conditioners and masks are on the Home Care page.
What each one prints
- Bio Lamination 1 L — cysteamine HCl fourth on the printed list, cysteine HCl further down, malic acid as the activating acid. 10 to 50 minutes depending on hair type, damp hair, 1 cm off the root, iron at 204 °C.
- Nano Gel 1 L — cysteamine HCl second on the printed list, cysteine HCl eleventh. Hydrolyzed corn protein and aloe are named on the same list.
- Bioplastia Vegan 1 L — cysteamine HCl second on the printed list, cysteine HCl further down. 10 to 50 minutes depending on hair type.
- BTOX Extreme Shine 1 kg — cysteamine HCl fourth on the printed list, cysteine HCl further down. 10 to 50 minutes, iron at 204 °C. Shea, linseed, pracaxi and the named seaweeds are on the list.
- BTOX Mass Replenisher 1 kg — 15 to 20 minutes for frizz, 40 to 60 minutes for volume, iron at 204 °C. Avocado oil, hydrolyzed cassava, coffee seed extract and a marine complex are named on the pack.
- S.O.S Protein mask 500 g and Mix Brazilian Oil 60 ml — the mask prints 5 to 10 minutes, then another 10 to intensify, with coconut oil on its list; the oil is a 60 ml finish and names Argania Spinosa among its botanicals.

What makes Brazil Protein smoothing different?
The mechanism. Bio Lamination 1 L, Bioplastia Vegan 1 L, BTOX Extreme Shine and Nano Gel 1 L each name cysteamine and cysteine on their printed ingredient list, so the four creams work the same way and you explain them the same way to every client. BTOX Mass Replenisher names no reducer on its list and works differently; ask us per product.
Which line straightens and which just reduces volume?
The four creams above are printed as straightening creams and run 10 to 50 minutes depending on hair type. BTOX Mass Replenisher is the one that separates the two jobs on its own pack: 15 to 20 minutes for frizz, 40 to 60 minutes for volume. Beyond what the packs print, ask us per product.
Can Brazil Protein be used on blonde, bleached or coloured hair?
Strand test first, every time. All of these creams print the same protocol: test a strand, apply to damp hair 1 cm off the root, leave 10 to 50 minutes depending on hair type, rinse, dry and iron thin sections. What the strand test tells you about a particular head of hair is better evidence than anything we could say here.
When do I reach for S.O.S Protein or Mix Brazilian Oil?
Both sit around a service rather than doing the smoothing. The S.O.S Protein mask prints 5 to 10 minutes, then another 10 minutes to intensify, and names coconut oil on its list; the fluid is a 300 ml leave-in. Mix Brazilian Oil is a 60 ml finish.
