Wahl Set: cordless Magic Clip Red + 5-Star Vanish Shaver is a set of two machines we put together ourselves: the cordless Magic Clip in the red finish and the 5-Star Vanish Shaver. The Magic Clip is the clipper of the set, with a variable taper from 0.5 to 1.2 mm and up to 100 min run time.

We put this set together ourselves. It is not a WAHL carton.

Why these two

The two do different work. A clipper takes bulk off and blends; a foil shaver is the machine for the last pass. We paired them because they get picked up one after the other in the same chair. Under the photographs on the back of the Magic Clip carton, WAHL writes: "Creates seamless blends when hard or soft line fading" and "Ideal for bulk hair removal".

Magic Clip features

• The taper is variable from 0.5 to 1.2 mm and is set on the lever.
• The carton describes the blade as "Chrome plated stagger-tooth blade".
• It also carries the names STAGGER-TOOTH BLADE, BLADE ADJUSTMENT LEVER and

CRUNCH BLADE TECHNOLOGY. The carton does not say what they do, and we are not filling that in.

• Runs corded and cordless.
• The rating plate reads MADE IN USA.

Who it is for

• Barbers who fade and blend on a cordless clipper and keep the finishing separate.
• Anyone after the red finish: this is the Magic Clip, stock number 3027252.
