The Wahl Set Launch Combo + Mobile Shaver is a set of two Wahl Professional cartons that we put together: a cordless clipper and trimmer in one carton, and a cordless travel shaver with a NiMH battery. In the chair, the clipper takes the bulk and builds the blend, the trimmer sets the outline and the detail, and the shaver finishes; it does not take off length. All three machines are cordless, the first two charge over USB-C and the shaver is built as a travel shaver, so the set can leave the station with you: to a house call, a show or a pop-up chair. It is the same set as our Wahl Set Launch Combo + Vanish Shaver, with this shaver in place of the Vanish.

Why this set
What makes this set different is the shaver. It is cordless, with a NiMH battery; the Wahl Vanish is a cord/cordless shaver. Choose this set for a travel shaver, and the Vanish set for a shaver you can also run on its cord.
Professional tip
Brush the blade before you clip a guide on, so no hair holds the guide off the teeth, and keep each machine to its own guides: six for the clipper, three for the trimmer. Use the shaver last, once the other two have taken the length down: stretch the skin with your free hand, keep the foil flat and make short, light passes on the neckline and cheek line rather than pressing.
How to use
- Charge the clipper and the trimmer before the first client, and charge the shaver fully before its first use.
- Brush the trimmer and clipper blades clean and oil them with clipper oil.
- Clip on a guide from the clipper's own row, longer first, then take the bulk and build the blend with the clipper, against the growth.
- Set the outline and the detail with the trimmer: skin stretched, light pressure.
- Switch everything off, brush the hair out of the blades, and brush the shaver's foil head clean and dry.
Care and maintenance
After each client, switch off, brush the hair from the teeth and around the trimmer and clipper blades with a soft, dry brush, and wipe the housings with a dry cloth. At the end of the day, and whenever a blade starts to drag, put a few drops of clipper oil, such as the Wahl Special Blade Oil 200ml or the Wahl Oil Tube 10ml, across the clipper and trimmer teeth, run them for a few seconds and wipe off the excess. Brush the shaver's foil head clean and dry after use.

What is in the set?

What is the difference between this set and the Vanish set?
The kit is the same; the shaver is not. The Wahl Mobile Shaver is a cordless travel shaver with a NiMH battery. The Wahl Vanish is a cord/cordless shaver. Choose by the shaver you want beside the kit.
How is each machine charged?
The trimmer and clipper charge over USB-C. The shaver's battery is NiMH: charge it fully before its first use.
Which cutting guides come with the set?

How do I look after the machines?

Can I rinse them under the tap?
No. Clean all three machines dry with a brush. Never rinse them under the tap or put them in liquid, and keep them away from wet surfaces at the station.

Clippers, trimmers and shavers
Applies to: corded and cordless clippers, trimmers, nose and ear trimmers and shavers, and their chargers.
- Read the manual before first use and keep it.
- Use only the supplied charger or adapter and charge as described in the manual, on a dry, heat-resistant surface.
- Do not use with a damaged cord, charger or housing. Leave repairs to an authorised repairer.
- Keep the appliance, battery and charger dry, unless the manual states otherwise. Never use a corded appliance near water.
- Blades are sharp. Switch off before changing a blade or guide comb and keep out of reach of children.
- Oil the blades regularly as described in the manual; a dry blade runs hot and pulls the hair.
- Do not open, pierce, heat or burn the lithium-ion battery.
- At the end of their life, hand in the appliance and the battery as electrical waste, not with household waste.
Always read the label and the instructions of the product itself.
