How to use

1. Switch the clipper off and pick the guard for the length you want.
2. Slide the guard onto the blade until the metal clip snaps over the back.
3. Check it is seated flat and held firmly before you switch on.
4. Cut with the comb flat to the head, moving against the hair growth.
5. To change length, switch off, unclip, and fit the next guard.

Care and maintenance

Brush the hair out of the teeth after each use and rinse the guards if needed -- they are combs, not blades, so no oil is required on them (keep oiling the clipper blade itself).
