Why this set

Professional tip
Set the bald band first with the clipper's blade closed right down, then open it in small steps as you work up, flicking out at the end of each stroke so the fade is laid down in stages.
How to use
- Before the first client, brush the blades clean and oil them with clipper oil.
- If you set a blade to zero-gap, do it with the machine off, then check that the moving blade sits behind the edge of the fixed blade before it touches skin.
- Take the length down with the clipper and a guard, against the growth; then fade up from the bald band without a guard, opening the blade in small steps.
- Set the outline with the trimmer: stretch the skin with your free hand and work with light pressure, using the corner of the blade for detail.
- Switch everything off before you put the machines down; stand the trimmer back on its charging stand.
Care and maintenance
After each client, switch off and brush the hair from the teeth and around the blades with a soft, dry brush, and wipe the housings with a dry cloth. At the end of the day, and whenever a blade starts to drag, put a few drops of clipper oil across the teeth, run it for a few seconds and wipe off the excess. Clean everything dry: never rinse a machine under the tap or put it in liquid.

What is in the set?

Which machine does which job?

How long do the machines run on a charge?
The clipper runs up to 2.5 hours on a 60 min charge; the trimmer runs up to 130 min on a 45 min charge.
Can the blades be set to zero-gap?
Yes: the clipper and Hi-Viz blades are zero-gap adjustable. Make any adjustment with the machine off, then check that the moving blade sits behind the edge of the fixed blade before it touches skin.
Can I rinse the machines under the tap?
No. Clean them dry with a brush. Never rinse them under the tap or put them in liquid, and keep them and their cords away from wet surfaces at the station.
Do the blades need oil?
Yes, the clipper and trimmer blades do. At the end of the day, and whenever a blade starts to drag, put a few drops of clipper oil across the teeth, run it for a few seconds and wipe off the excess.
