How to use

Charge fully on the base or by USB Type-C before the first cut.

If you want a little more margin, set the blade to 0.3 mm with the Universal Blade Setter instead - that is exactly why both settings exist. Neither setting is a shaver; for a skin-close finish, use a foil shaver.

Is this a trimmer, or can it replace my clipper?

It is a trimmer, built for the outline - necklines, edges and beard lines - not for taking off bulk. For bulk removal, tapers and fades you want the XCEED Clipper. The two are made to work together: clipper for the shape, trimmer for the finish.

Yes. A DLC (Black Diamond Carbon) coating is hard-wearing, but the blade still needs a drop of oil after each use to run cool and cut cleanly - coated blades are not self-lubricating. Brush the hair out first, then oil the X-PRO DLC fixed blade and The One moving blade.

Can I charge and use it abroad?

The charger is rated 100 - 240 V, so it works on any mains voltage worldwide with the right plug adapter - no voltage converter needed. It charges on the fixed base or straight from a USB Type-C cable, whichever is easier where you are.
