Once a week it goes on clean, damp lengths and ends for 10 to 15 minutes and is rinsed thoroughly.

Why a weekly step on top of the daily routine

This is the home half of the Hydraluxe hydration service, and it also stands on its own for dry, frizz-prone hair. Piur London names the technology TucumaVault, after the Amazonian tucuma oil that runs through the range with coconut, marine algae and sodium hyaluronate. The mask is the heavier, once-a-week dose. It is not for daily use and does not replace the shampoo or the conditioner.

1. Apply to clean, damp lengths and ends.

1. Shampoo, then squeeze the water out: damp, not dripping. Our advice to pass on to the client.
2. Lengths and ends, combed through.
3. Leave within the Method A range: the long end on the driest hair. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Then the conditioner, which still closes the wash.
