Wahl Set: 5-Star Vapor + Vanish Shaver is a set of two machines we put together ourselves: the 5-Star Vapor clipper and the 5-Star Vanish Shaver. The Vapor is the one carrying the numbers: 8000 RPM on a brushless motor, a 0.5 to 1.2 mm cutting range, and adjustable to zero-gap.

We put this set together ourselves. It is not a WAHL carton.

Why these two

The two do different work. A clipper takes bulk off and blends; a foil shaver is the machine for the last pass. We paired them because they get picked up one after the other in the same chair. What this set does not have is a trimmer for the line: that takes a third machine.

Vapor features

• The blade is named F32 FADEOUT and the carton describes it as an adjustable balding blade.
