Why this box

We would run the tannin, then send them out with the wash, the mask and the leave-in and a clear routine, because the curl that keeps being fed is the one that comes back. Keep the leave-in off your roots, so the pattern falls clean instead of sitting flat and greasy at the crown.

How to use

Two parts: a professional service in the salon, then a home routine the client keeps up over the transition. In the salon you wash with Step M, work in the Step B tannin as Salvatore's curl protocol directs, and finish with Step F to rebalance the pH. Only trained hands run Step B, and the in-box leaflet sets its exact timing.

At home the client runs the lighter steps on wash day, so treat your mid-lengths and ends before the roots and let each step do its part. Repeat the wash, the mask and the leave-in as often as the curl needs through the grow-out.

1. Wash with Step M. Cleanse the hair and rinse, because the tannin and the masks all take more evenly on a clean fibre.
2. Work in Step B (salon). Apply the plant tannin as the curl protocol directs, so a two-texture head starts to read as one.
3. Balance with Step F (salon). Use the chemical-control step as its pack directs after the tannin, so the fibre's pH settles before the client leaves.
4. Feed with Step N (home). Comb the mask through the lengths and leave it twenty to thirty minutes, so the worn hair drinks the moisture up, then rinse.
5. Finish with Step O (home). Work the leave-in through damp hair and skip your roots, so the curl springs back and holds through the day.
