Professional tip

The gloss lives in the iron pass, and the slip we see most is a damp section under the plate. Take Step B through clean, thin sections and dry each fully before you set it, because trapped water steams instead of smooths. Give Step G its full time so the cuticle actually lays down. We would rather you work smaller sections slowly than rush the finish.

How to use

Start on freshly washed, towel-dried hair, parted and planned, because the styling only takes on an even, damp-free canvas. Keep the two steps in order and give the cuticle mask its leave-on.

Work thin sections and patient passes, since the shine is only as even as the setting. Let Step G sit before you rinse and blow out.

1. Lay the tannin with Step B. Comb it through towel-dried sections, because an even coat is what lets the shape set cleanly under the iron.
2. Set section by section. Dry each thin section and press it with the flat iron per the protocol, so the tannin locks the smooth line in place.
3. Work Step G through. Apply the cuticle step, leave it twenty to thirty minutes and rinse, so the collagen and keratin lay the surface down for gloss.
4. Blow out and finish. Dry into shape as usual, so the blow-out falls sleek and holds between washes.
