Salvatore Tanino Therapy A + B (2x1000ml) brings together the two litre bottles of the line: A, the Cuticle Prepper shampoo, and B, Capillary Styling, the bottle with the plant tannins. B is left on for at least 30 minutes, then the hair is flat-ironed in thin sections. The B bottle prints its directions in several languages, and they do not all match; this page shows where. The half-litre pair is the A + B kit 2x500ml.

What each bottle is for

A is the shampoo of the line, step letter A, on a list built on surfactants and salt. B is the step with the plant tannins, on a conditioning base of silicones, butters and oils. Its directions open with its own line: after washing with shampoo, remove 50% of moisture with a dryer. Each bottle is shown under its own letter.

Key ingredients: A

• Sodium Laureth Sulfate: the cleansing surfactant, 2nd on the list.
• Sodium Chloride: salt, 3rd.
• Cocamidopropyl Betaine: a second surfactant, 4th.
• Phenoxyethanol and four parabens: the preservatives, 9th to 13th.

Key ingredients: B

Plant tannins with hydrolyzed keratin and collagen, and conditioning butters and oils. The bottle prints the full ingredient list.

Who it is not for

• Anyone sensitive to the fragrance allergens named on the ingredient lists. A: Amyl Cinnamal, Coumarin, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool. B: Coumarin, Cinnamal, Cinnamyl Alcohol.
• Anyone who reacts during use: the A and B labels say to stop using them in case of an abnormal reaction.

How to use

Method A is each bottle's own English directions, under its letter.

Method A, A: Cuticle Prepper (shampoo)

1. Uniformly apply to wet hair "A" product on the roots, without rubbing the scalp.
2. Distribute the product from the roots to the ends without rubbing the fiber.
3. Rinse well with cold or lukewarm water completely removing the product.
4. Apply 2 - 3 times according to the need.
5. Ensure the application and cleansing of frontal and nape areas are properly done.

Method A, B: Capillary Styling (conditioner)

1. After washing with shampoo, remove 50% of moisture with dryer and apply product "B" section by section from roots to the ends.
2. With the help of a medium comb evenly distribute the product.
3. Leave on for at least 30 minutes.
4. Rinse well with cold or lukewarm water completely removing the product.
5. Flat iron slowly in thin sections at least 10 to 20 times, according to the need.

Where it fits in the Salvatore range

The same two letters come in half-litres as the A + B kit 2x500ml. The B + G kit 1500ml puts G beside B, and the A + B + G kit 2500ml brings A, B and G together. Precautions for use

Chemical smoothing treatments
Applies to: keratin treatments and Brazilian blow dry, protein treatments and nanoplastia, tannin smoothing (taninoplastia), hair botox and all other professional smoothing treatments and kits.

• For professional use only, by a trained hairdresser.
• Wear gloves and work in a well-ventilated room, also while blow-drying and ironing.
• Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Rinse immediately with plenty of water if contact occurs.
• Do not use on an irritated, damaged or sensitive scalp, or in case of a known allergy to one of the ingredients.
• Carry out a sensitivity test and a strand test before every treatment.
• Follow the processing time and the iron temperature given in the instructions. Do not combine the product with another chemical service without the manufacturer's advice.
• During pregnancy or breastfeeding, ask the client to consult her doctor first.
• If swallowed, rinse the mouth and seek medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children. Keep the container tightly closed, cool and dry, away from heat sources.
