The Wahl Beret in chrome is a slim cord/cordless trimmer for the outline, detail work and contours. WAHL puts its job in one line: “Designed for outlines, detail work and contours – cuts very close to the skin”. It runs up to 75 min on a lithium-ion battery, and its chrome-plated blade, 32.5 mm wide, detaches.

Why the Beret chrome
A cut in the chair runs in a fixed order: the clipper takes the bulk and the taper, the trimmer sets the outline and the detail, and the foil shaver finishes. This is the trimmer in that order, slim enough for tight work around the ear and the beard line, and corded or cordless, so a flat battery is never the end of a line-up: plug in the cord and carry on.

Professional tip
Keep the cord within reach at the station on a long day. When the battery runs down mid-client, plug in and finish the line where you are, then put it back on charge between clients.
How to use
- Charge it before first use.
- With the trimmer switched off, check that the blade is seated and oil it.
- Fit a guide if the work needs one.
- Work the outline and the detail.
- Switch off and brush out the blade.
Care and maintenance
After each client, switch off and brush the teeth of the blade clean. At the end of the day, and whenever it starts to drag, put a few drops of clipper oil across the teeth, run it briefly and wipe off the excess. Keep Wahl Special Blade Oil 200ml at the station for the daily oiling, and Wahl Oil Tube 10ml in the case for work away from it.

Switch it off, and unplug it when it is on the cord. Brush the teeth clean after each client; at the end of the day put a few drops of clipper oil across the teeth, run it briefly and wipe off the excess. Clean it dry; never rinse it.
