The routine works when you match the mask to the moment, and the mistake we see is using all three at once. We would reach for the stabiliser around any chemical work, the moisture mask when the lengths feel parched, and the curly mask on curls that fall flat. Keep each to the mid-lengths and ends, because your roots stay hydrated on their own.

How to use

Pick the mask the hair asks for and use it after shampoo on towel-damp hair. Each one works on contact and rinses out, so the mistake to avoid is piling all three on in a single wash.

Work through the mid-lengths and ends, comb it so every strand is covered, and give it its time before you rinse. Rotate the three across the month as the hair's needs change.

1. Wash and towel-dry. Shampoo and blot the hair towel-damp, because a mask grips and spreads better on damp lengths than on soaking ones.
2. Steady around chemistry. Use Step F as its pack directs around any colour or lightening, since it is there to keep a reactive fibre stable.
3. Flood the moisture. Work Step D or Step N through the lengths, comb it and leave it its pack time, so the hair drinks up what it needs before you rinse.
4. Rinse and rotate. Rinse until the water runs clear, and switch between the masks over the weeks so the hair gets what it lacks.
