Professional tip

For clipper-over-comb, keep the comb moving and the clipper flat against it, and let the comb set the length. For the taper, open the blade with the BLADE ADJUSTMENT LEVER in small steps across 0.5 mm - 1.2 mm rather than in one jump.

How to use

1. Before the first client, brush the blade clean and put a few drops of clipper oil across the teeth. If you set the blade to zero-gap, do it with the clipper off.
2. Still with it off, check that the moving blade sits behind the edge of the fixed blade before it touches skin.
3. Take the bulk with a guard or over the comb, against the growth.
4. Taper by moving the BLADE ADJUSTMENT LEVER between passes, flicking out at the end of each stroke.
5. Switch off and brush the hair out of the blade before you put the clipper down.

Care and maintenance

After each client, switch off and brush the hair from the teeth and around the blade with a soft, dry brush, then wipe the housing with a dry cloth. At the end of the day, and whenever the blade starts to drag, put a few drops of clipper oil across the teeth, run the clipper for a few seconds and wipe off the excess.
